Buddha's Light Youth Symphony Orchestra -Los Angeles MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION Membership is open to musicians 9 to 25 years old. Musicians may audition on the following instruments: Strings: Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Harp Woodwinds: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon Brass: French horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba Percussion: Orchestral percussion instruments AUDITION DATE, TIME AND LOCATION: Date: Saturday Sep 18, 2010 Time: 10:00 am - 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm Location: Meeting Hall, Hsi Lai Temple AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: Prepare two solos of contrasting character from the standard repertoire. They do not need to be memorized. All major scales and sight-reading will also be required.
